What is managed live chat?

Managed live chat is an outsourced service in which you are provided with live chat software that you add to your website. All chats received through your website's live chat are managed by an outsourced team of agents, who will answer chats on behalf of your business. This team undergoes extensive training on how to handle enquiries on behalf of your business. This service offers the benefits of an in-house team without the need to hire full-time staff.

How does Bizik get to know my business?

During your onboarding, Bizik will collect as much information from you as possible to create an extensive knowledge base of information about your business. You can inform Bizik's dedicated support team if there are any changes or critical information you'd like updated.

How does Bizik know whether calls or chats are for my business?

You will receive a unique divert number or live chat code, which Bizik's clever system will link to your company. Any calls or chats relating to your unique identifier will present your business name and knowledge base to Bizik's team to answer calls or live chats on your behalf.

Does Bizik answer all of my calls and chats?

Calls - Bizik can answer all calls, or you can use them as an overflow service when you're unavailable. The choice is yours. Chats - All chats can be managed by Bizik, or they can set up your in-house team with logins to chat hub so your company can respond to chats directly if you wish.

How does diary management work?

Bizik will send instructions on integrating your Calendly account with your service, so that they can manage your diary. If you don't already have a Calendly account, you will receive instructions on how to set up a free account. You will have complete control of your availability, so you can leave time slots free for Bizik to manage appointments on your behalf.

How does Bizik answer my calls?

Bizik will always answer all calls in your company name, using your handling instructions and business information. Their clever system will present your unique company profile to the agents when someone calls your business number.

What message details will Bizik pass onto me following a live chat conversation?

Bizik will answer questions during the chats using the knowledge base of information collected during onboarding. In instances where we cannot answer a specific question, we will collect contact details for you to get in touch with the web visitor. You will receive full chat transcripts by email and via the online portal.

Can I view my message/transcript history?

You can access a log of your call messages and chat transcripts via your online portal.

What happens to my calls and chats out of hours?

Calls - Bizik's standard working hours are 8.30am to 5.30pm. Outside of these hours, your calls can either be directed to a personalised voicemail message, or redirected to a number of your choice, so that you can continue answering your calls. Chats - Bizik can either present an out-of-hours message and contact form to your customers, or remove the chat button from your website.

How do Bizik's pricing plans work?

Bizik offer a range of flexible pricing plans with bundles of calls or chats, so you only pay for what you need.

How long are Bizik's contracts?

Bizik knows customers want to avoid long-term contracts, so most plans have a three-month minimum commitment; however, some of the larger plans have a longer commitment of 6 or 12 months. Bizik requires a notice period of one month from your next invoice date to cancel your subscription.
